“Fighting Corruption: between theory and practice”

Wednesday March 18, 2015 – Phoenicia Intercontinental - Beirut

 

The forum focuses on the private sector’s role in attracting new investments, while fighting corruption, in order to help stimulate the economic growth and provide efficient support to the productive sectors. It also emphases on ways to help immunizing large and small sized companies which in return have significant implications on the economic cycle, despite of the current situations surrounding Lebanon.

 

The forum sessions will be discussing the following subjects:

Corrective Reforms and Success Opportunities

Will the corrective outburst carry on, or will it regress with the evolving situations

Role of the Public sector in preserving the economic balance under the current reforms

The positive effects of the corrective reforms on the Lebanese Economy, and how it will bring back confidence to the consumers.

 

Challenges facing the productive sectors

What are these challenges and what are the containment plans

What kind of new incentives will these sectors need to override the effects of these challenges?

Role of the banking sector and monetary markets

 

This forum will congregate professionals of the private and public sectors, in addition to business people from key sectors including banking and financial services, in addition to representatives of the productive sectors.
